The World of Cosmetic Surgery web site is a
consumer patient reference featuring only the most respected, premier
surgeons, board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. By
invitation only, this group of surgeons in select geographic regions of
the US, are leaders in their field and each have decades of experience.
Consumers who are seeking only the best plastic surgeons, with extensive
experience in surgery, can rely on up-to-date information about medical
procedures, surgeon's area of expertise and can view actual video
of patients before and after results. Consumers can direct questions to
individual surgeons about a prospective procedure and can have computer
imaging samples generated.

Stephen X. Giunta, M.D., is a native
of New York State and a graduate of Georgetown University School
of Medicine. He is Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology
(face, head and neck surgery), and the American Board of Facial
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also Certified by the
American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, a Fellow of the International
College of Surgeons, and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and
a Charter Member of the American Academy of Aesthetic and Restorative
Surgery among many other accomplishments. |

John A. McCurdy, Jr., M.D., has
practiced cosmetic surgery in Honolulu since 1979 and is internationally
recognized for his surgical skills on Asian patients. He's published
numerous scientific articles, books and has lectured widely on the
topic of cosmetic surgery for Asians. He is the author of the acclaimed
medical textbook Cosmetic Surgery of the Asian Face. Dr. McCurdy,
is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery, the
American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head
and Neck Surgery. He is also a FDA approved investigator for silicone
and saline breast implants. |

William Yvorchuk, M.D., has studied
medicine and surgery internationally in Canada, the US and England.
He completed Medical School training at McGill University in Montreal,
Quebec in which he graduated with honors. He then completed full
training in General Surgery at McGill University- 2 years longer
than is required for admission to a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
residency. Dr. Yvorchuk then moved to Northern California where
he completed a three year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery at the University of California, Davis. He then went on
to complete a Fellowship in Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery at the
world renowned Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital of New York
University in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Yvorchuk has therefore also
completed nearly double the training, 3 1/2 years as opposed to
2 years, than is required for the specialty of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery. |
